Due to continued success and an increase in building volume, we have an opportunity for a Contract Administrator / Project Co-ordinator to join our established team in St. Peters, NSW

The Role:

Reporting to the State Manager the responsibilities in this role will include:

  • Produce claims and variations, contracts admin of projects
  • Preparation of monthly reports
  • EHS and Safety Paperwork and document control
  • Desire to learn and excel in the construction industry
  • A hands-on approach to the role
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Clear communication skills
  • Exposure to large commercial and waterproofing projects and advantage
  • Office-based role
  • You must be able to read and interpret drawings
  • You must be able to take off quantities from drawings
  • Procurement of materials

Requirements:

  • Ideally you will have some experience in a similar role
  • Possess a solid background/knowledge or degree in construction management and or quantity surveying.
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to interpret building plans
  • Valid NSW Driver’s Licence & own transport
  • Excellent level of computer literacy including Excel & Word Processing
  • Previous experience in Waterproofing, Civil and or/Quantity Surveying will be highly regarded.
  • Experience in Jobpac / Buildsoft Cubit an advantage

    Waterproofers

    THE ROLE

    Due to an expanding portfolio of awarded contracts, we are currently seeking experienced Waterproofers to join our Western Australian operations team in Perth.

    RESPSONSIBILITIES

    • Sarnafil PVC sheet welding
    • Polyurea spraying
    • Liquid membranes
    • Mastic jointing
    • Installation of Combiflex and Unison expansion joint systems.

    ABOUT YOU

    To be successful in this role you must have:

    • Experience in construction and waterproofing
    • Current Construction White Card
    • Drivers License
    • Be familiar with waterproofing products and installation procedures
    • Proactive, reliable and hardworking

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19
    • Work hours Monday – Friday, Saturdays on request

      Contract Administrator

      Polyseal is a nationally recognized waterproofing subcontractor operating across Victoria, NSW, Queensland and Western Australia.

      Established for over 30 years, Polyseal has built up a reputation as the leading national waterproofing and protective coatings subcontractor, with expertise ranging from below grade and roof sheet membranes to liquid and spray applied elastomers and polymeric coatings.

      After securing several new projects, we are seeking a talented and dedicated Contract Administrator to join our Victorian team located in Thomastown.

      The successful candidate will report to the Victorian State Manager to successfully administer current projects in Victoria along with assisting with the estimating of tenders.

      Your duties will have you actively involved in all Victorian based projects and will include the following tasks (among others) :

      • Prepare and submit Progress Claims
      • Prepare and submit Purchase Orders
      • Procurement and Estimating
      • Administration and submission of QA and WHS documents
      • Liaise with Site Supervisors and convene with Senior Management
      • General office duties

      The successful candidate must have/be:

      • Means of transportation (Whilst your role will be primarily office based, you may be required to occasionally attend sites across Melbourne)
      • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (including Excel, Outlook and Word)
      • Experience with Jobpac is preferable but not crucial.
      • Experience with Cubit (or similar) is preferable but not crucial.
      • Ability to work autonomously
      • Excellent oral and written communication skills
      • Desire to learn and excel in the construction / waterproofing industry
      • Tertiary education is preferable.
